Got the second of the two hats for my friend done. I can now, officially, start my sleeves. They are already on the needles, but...I put them down when I got the yarn for my friend.
So, what you think?
Oh, and Mike Ness (lead singer from Social Distortion) wants me to make him one. My big break? Who knows. I just know, I really enjoy making the baby hats. Granted, I really enjoyed making those pockets...

They are adorable. The sleeves your making does have a name, it took me awhile to remember what it was, they are called a shrug.

thanks all! i really adore them both! found out though, one baby has been born...a boy! :) i think the cat hat would be fine though.
adrianne-a shrug has more of a bit of body (just a bit down the back and a bit that can meet across the front). you'll see what i mean about sleeves as i show pictures.
