what's a girl to do?

Kev is going to a show tonight. I'm not sure who is playing, all I know is he and Kiley are going out...oh wait we spoke of dinner, didn't we?!?!?! I must remind him of this...

And with that memory, I just answered my question. A girl is to go out to dinner with friends and her husband before the boys head out to a show.

Okay then.

Good thing you've got your knitting!!!!! :) I love nights to myself.... but after a few, it gets a little lonely, even with Miss Polly around to protect me & give me hugs.

I am thankful for that! I am almost done with my first scarf (it's only taken me HOW long?). I got some not so good yarn to practice various stitches and things with, instead of paying out the nose for something that is just a sampler of sorts. I had a girl on Thanksgiving tell me I should never, NEVER, knit with anything that isn't good yarn...I just agreed, but honestly, I don't want to pay a ton of money for something that is just being used for my education, does that make sense? What're your thoughts on that Jen?

If you have been knitting the scarf for such a LONG time, it must be a very LONG scarf.

There are a lot of people out there who like to give advice. I'm glad I am not one of them.

Be sure to put your yarn up when you are done. You don't want the "kiddos" getting into it.

Love,

Dad

You know Dad, for one who doesn't like to give advice all the time, what was that about the yarn?!? Advice? :P

I always put everything up when done with it because we have a dog who is a cat and two cats who are aiders and abetters!

Use whatever yarn feels good in your hands. Parctice yarn can be inexpensive and still feel comfy in the hands. I use whatever is on sale, most of the time. Keep on knitting!
