in need of a new camera

I tried to post this yesterday, but there were problems with blogger and photo uploading. Shall we keep our fingers crossed? :)

Well, I took a few photos today, but the camera kept acting up. There were odd lines through certain parts of pictures. The screen would go blank unless I finessed it a bit. It is slow to respond when I press the shutter button. It's been a great camera, but it is on its last legs for sure.

Anyway...here are four that I could make okay with photoshop.

Hooray!!

So beautiful and homey. :) I really love your colour choices and all your "things"!

We've lived in this house for 3 years and it still looks and feels like a rental. I'm starting to think I'm just gonna throw caution to the wind and paint the damn place. White with nothing on the walls is far too depressing.

oh shannykins... the place looks positively faboo, which i knew it would.

funny, eh? seems like only yesterday you were yearning to even put your house up for sale, then to have a buyer, then to find a place.. and POOF!

magical place you've found, dear friend...

can't wait to get some damned time freed up to meet you two, see the place, and have a drink & chat it up!

eeep!

Oh my goodness! Your new home looks so lovely and comfortable! The bedroom so inviting, and all those nice colores on the walls! No wonder you like it so much! Enjoy!

Thanks all! That bedroom is actually the guest room (aka Chloe's room). The quilt is one that my grandmother had made for us when we got married. I am thrilled to be able to see it every single day now. We have used it, but with the dog getting on the bed we opted to use it in the guest room, where she doesn't really hang out.
