I digress.
On Monday we were scratching on Josie when we realized that a small spot on her right hip had turned into a large spot on her right hip and small spots on her back. She's losing spots of hair. We're not sure what's going on, other than it's most likely some allergy. We took her in on Monday to the vet to see what's going on. Bloodwork came back fine. Thyroid slightly elevated but nothing to be alarmed by. He has her on 50mg of Benadryl, twice a day.
Does it affect dogs as it does me, by knocking them out? Josie is already zonked, but it's our bedtime so who knows? We'll see if tomorrow she's sluggish after her morning dose.I'll keep you all posted.

Oooh, poor baby. Hope it is nothing serious. Give lots of hugs from us. She is such a sweetie-pie, we hate to hear of her not feeling so well.
Josie and Maddie need to hook up and play it up together. I have this odd feeling that they'd whoop it up sumthin fierce!

Benadryl will most likely make her tired and sluggish, like it does humans. I hope the vet figures out what's going on with her. Good luck.

B- Josie's not much about the playing. She does, on occassion, but...we'd have to see.
Bekah- That's totally what I thought. I have to call and find out how long he wants her on it. I forgot to ask yesterday.
